I am glad you enjoyed the pictures. I think most miniaturists have an extra drop of kid in them like these children. :-)

  9. Hi Grandmommy! I LOVE this campaign and it sure makes me feel proud to be a woman, but most of all, a woman of color.
I suppose that what is significant is that they made change happen regardless of what life had originally dictated to them. Adversity, lack of resources, politics, gender, race, nationality etc. didn't hinder these individuals from using what God gave them and finding their path and/ or calling. I take my hat off to each of them.

  10. Hello Elizabeth my friend!
I am so glad you enjoyed Ms. Jones work.

The poster make such statements about life and what a feminine one can be like. I adore ALL of the girls and the women they portray.

I have to say that the one that makes me most emotional is Malala. I think it is because her story is so recent and fresh in my mind.

I saw her dad on Ted Talks and he really drove her sacrifice home. I am not concerned about her religion, race etc. I just know she is a very courageous young lady.

btw I didn't know you were a woman of color! LOL
